Comment:

Nice DVD with great footage from the Rock In Rio Festival. This is from the second night only and comes from a TV broadcast. The picture quality is only Very Good-, but still enjoyable. Overall sound quality is Very Good+ and sometimes it's really clear and great to listen. It only lacks some bass and the sound disappears a few times on some songs for about 20 or 30 seconds. As you can see, this is not the complete concert and there are a few cuts too. Tear It Up is cut from the beginning. This is also the case with Crazy Little Thing Called Love, but this one is also slightly cut in the end. Freddie was really in a very great mood during Crazy Little Thing Called Love. No copy errors. Not sourced from VCD/SVCD.

Comment:

Complete concert edition of the first night in Rio 1985. Under Pressure is slightly cut in the middle, but otherwise no cuts in the recording. A local TV station filmed the whole concert. The overall sound quality is Very Good-. First part of the concert is only Good+, but then it is getting better and it comes close to Very Good. It had gotten some tape hiss over the years and it's not very clear, but enjoyable. The picture quality is Very Good, but sometimes it can be a bit blury though. Very unusual that Freddie introduces Radio Ga Ga. There was a fight in the audience during Jailhouse Rock. You can clearly hear Freddie shouting several times to the audience that they must stop fighting and listen to the music. No copy errors. Not sourced from VCD/SVCD.

Comment:

A German TV special called ''Music Box''. A very nice document about the concert in Munich. It includes a soundcheck, reports, interviews and a few songs from the live concert. This is the re-broadcast version and it comes straight from a master VHS tape of the original TV brodcast, so it has almost the best possible quality. Both picture and sound quality are Excellent. It almost sounds like ''Live Killers''. Note that Bohemian Rhapsody fades in during the opera part, so the first part of the song is missing. The DVD has no chapters as it is one big track. Wonderful performance of Let Me Entertain You. I really hope that one day we can see the full recording. No copy errors. Not sourced from VCD/SVCD.
